OMG. Ethan! That is exactly what I just thought. I was gonna comment with that. ;P:3
Whoa Danbi, way to not read the situation correctly there for whether that was a good moment to ask about your mama or not :'D
In his defense, not asking that question probably wouldn't have helped, either! It was inevitable. D:
In contrast with Adela's angry overreaction to a minor (and deserved) injury, Danbi calmly asks his master's apparent murderer questions. Though that also might not be an appropriate response.
I really love the violet lightning at the last two panels!
If you like violet lights, you might find a lot to like in the next update...!
Struck a sore spot, did he? And here I was thinking I had her all wrong and that the animal people really weren't out to get them. Looks like he's about to meet the wrong end of the a lucky rabbit's foot.
She's just not cut out for this job. ;) Then again, with her stellar anger management skills, she's probably not cut out for most professions that require one to be, you know, professional.
Ticked? More like somebody needs to go to anger management class!
I like the violent lightning in the last two panels as well. :) The "WHOMP!" part is what makes it a lot more cooler!
Thanks! Yeah, that SFX really adds a lot, doesn't it? :D
Daaaaang that kid is polite and self-possessed! I'm impressed. (Alternately, he's in shock.)
And/or naive and a bad judge of character! Combined with the fact that he believes this might be his only chance at finding out about his mom.
