Oh, how interesting! :D Also that last panel is especially gorgeous, I love how you drew the eyes.
"Thanks! That stupid author just wouldn't let me IN. Kept giving me some excuses about pacing and writing and stuff." ;D
Um!! I wonder what kind of connection do they have, if they have any : O
Amazing page! n.n
Wowowowowow! Right back to the beginning! (I was wondering when that character would come back into play...)
Hmmmmm... COULD THERE BE A CONNECTION? ;D <3 Ahahaha, love the page Keiiii! Seriously amazing light work with the first three panels... and I love the 한복 on the queen, that's gorgeous! (And I love how you got the gold to work with the colours there, amazing!!)
That kid really has gorgeous eyes too... <3
Hmm, mysteriouser and mysteriouser... same person, or two different people of the same kind of immortals...?
Mysteriouser indeed! And thank you; I do love drawing hanbok, and am planning on doing some ridiculously ornate ones in the future. >∪<
And here I was honestly expecting her to look all glowy. I should have known better than to be fooled by your magnificent special effects.
Then again, this is a setting where toilets shine like the morning sun.
Maybe she has a final form that makes the brightest toilets pale in comparison!
I really like the calligraphic-brush feel of your line work. It's such a great subtle detail that really adds to the Asian feel of everything. By any chance, would you mind sharing what brush you use? If not, that's cool.
Also...why is the guy in the back faceless?
The panel/bubble borders or the actual art? For the borders, I use a combination of a textured brush and a regular round brush (opacity set to pressure). I can't post the textured brush due to the restrictions from the place where I got the texture from, but it's simple to make. I'll post the untextured base for it some time; all you need to do is add your own texture to it (rock, wood, whatever; I think mine is some rock surface) via dual brush.
For the actual art, I usually use a regular round brush (opacity set to pressure), but sometimes I use a thin oval brush. It gives an interesting look to the strokes.
About the other person in the painting: good question... :3
Oooh! And here I was expecting something a lot more complicated. I was asking for the art itself, but knowing the panel border brushes is even cooler??? THANK YOU FOR TAKING YOUR TIME TO REPLY. I appreciate it a lot!
Just like gravy at Thanksgiving, the plot THICKENS
I don't know why I made a reference to gravy there
