A note about Ethan’s shirt: the locals gifted him some nice ones some time after realizing that Ethan was going to become a Dokkabi. It’s a token of “you are a valued asset in this community.”

I like his new duds! And it's nice that they're giving him something tangible to work toward. I mean, I'm not surprised, but having a goal to work on while he figures out what to do in the long term might do him some good. At least, I hope so. Ethan does have a tendency to just stumble from one incredibly traumatizing incident to another.

I'm also super curious about how Danbi and Hanel have been doing. I'm assuming they haven't left, since Ethan went through all that just so they could stay, but I was surprised they didn't come to see what all the ruckus was about with the illusions after Ethan got his powers. Hopefully they're both doing okay. Danbi's probably still struggling with his own transformation.

Does that curly-haired Elyeo have a name? I really like her character design. She's pretty.

Not sure whether moving the trees is a good idea. As long as nobody from outside knows, that place could serve as a hide-out. The difficulty to reach it would be some protection against attacker, especially bigger groups.

Edit: "either teleport there, or walk for days wearing a mask" - how does a teleporter find a destination he doesn't know?

I "know" 2 limiting concepts from other stories: The teleporter must have traveled to a destination by some other means, e.g, walking, or the teleporter can only jump to places he/she can see.
