Keol is an actual word in Korean. In most places, if you see “keol,” it’s 걸 which is pronounced like “gull." I find that extremely counter-intuitive. I mean, why does “eo” become “uh”???

So I use “keol” to represent 결, pronounced like gull with a Y after the G. If you want, you can C&P 결 into Google translator, and there’s a button somewhere that pronounces it for you. It refers to the way something flows, and/or how something feels if you were to run your hand over it. e.g. Hair keol refers to the silkiness of your hair; you can have good hair keol (silky hair), or bad hair keol (tangly/messy hair).

Well that's a completely different story from before. He didn't even come through a portal, he was just born here.

That "portal" could have been in her womb. Immaculate conception, anyone?

It's true, he could've been a dandelion baby! Either way, he didn't ~descend upon this world~ as a fully grown, handsome bachelor.

@KEIIII:

That's a pet peeve of mine, too: The counter-intuitive translations of Asian-language syllables into the Roman Alphabet.

No wonder Westerners come across as ignorant and rude when visiting Asian countries. I'm sure I'd be no exception.

Well, I wouldn't say that's what makes people ignorant and rude. The Korean orthography isn't great at representing English sounds, either! (Though this doesn't mean Korean tourists are never ignorant/rude, I wouldn't blame it on the writing system.)

In any case, yeah, it is very annoying to deal with...

So, if one male Elyeo was born (disregarding how it came to that) - why is it a big deal if another was born?

The big deal is that Queen didn't get to have the first one. So she's on a quest to find/obtain the next one available.
