I don’t know, Ethan. The Internet’s a pretty big thing to not have…
Hm...contemplation. Dude, this is a huge life changing decision. Make sure that you're sure you wanna stay. Well, you might not have a choice. :P
Yeah, big decision here, and also a pretty big assumption, too. Who knows what actually awaits him at the Heart? (other than me... bwahahaha! But even I only know. I don't control; I only witness and retell...)
I really like the emotional feel to this page, and the art matches its intensity and balance. Very nice!
Thank you! I didn't think of this one being particularly intense, but maybe dark and serious? Yeah, dark and serious for a moment there.
Beautiful page~ love the inner monologuing and the surrounding nighttime scenery, it is all so very beautiful. <3
AW YOU CHANGED YOUR AVATAR <3333
Sorry for going off topic XD;;
Ohhh! XD;; Yes, I did change it~! Long spiel following, read only if bored. XD;;
CiciEnixa drew a bunch of people as kids in her webcomic, FD2R, after we vandalised some posters. XD; So this is Cici's interpretation of me! (... This explanation didn't explain much, I'M SORRY T_T) Because Rufi-kid cried so much in her early scenes, I was kind of limited with what face I could choose to avatar up (it was either this or this
).
Eventually Cici drew her smiling, so I was going to change it when that happened... but then Cici suggested I change my avatar only when I get to a point in my webcomic where characters start dying or something because that would be hilariously ebil. Uh, that has happened in my webcomic, so I have changed it because I am emulating ebil. XD;;;
And that is why I changed my avatar to this cute grinning munchkin XD;;;
I gotta say, it's a nice change of pace to have a character actually think about what they want so early in the story. Usually, it's not until way later that the thought "well, why do I even want to go back anyway?" enters their minds. Ethan's a bit of a dork, but he might be a pretty smart guy when it comes down to the important things.
*nods* He's no Einstein, but he's not exactly dumb, either. At least not all the time. XD
And yeah, everybody seems to just decide to do whatever it is that they're supposed to be doing (which, in this case, is going back). I can understand wanting to find out how to go back so you can at least weigh your options, and have a better idea of what's going on. But curiosity is not necessarily a powerful enough -- or intriguing enough -- motivation, unless the whole story's set up for it.
Thank you. We've got a truly glorious scenery coming up very soon, this Thursday :D
Ethan's so precious! I love his attitude, and I'm very eager to see where this story takes him. The little fire spirit was adorable! <3
I'd say he's very... "casually honest" to both himself and others. I love him for it, and I'm glad you're fond of him too!
Ethan.... you aren't seriously considering throwing away the internet are you!?
Ethan...
The internet is super important, same with a hotdog truck.
Besides internet, stuff like clean drinking water, plumbing, air conditioning, modern medicines, etc. are kinda hard to not miss.
