It looks at him :D
"Why do you yell? I just wanted to say hi..."
Awe~ Don't scare the adorable fire demon! It only wants you to pet it~
Awww, all it wants to do is eat your knee, Ethan! Chill out!
"Hello there, big person! I am rather hungry and I see that you have two knees; may I have one of them?"
XDDD That's exactly it, isn't it?! LOL! Awww, Ethan... "B-but I like my knees!"
The wispy-glowy-fire...cat(definitely a cat) just wants to be your friend, Ethan!(maybe it wants your knees, actually)
Beautiful page, Keiii! :D The lighting is really nice on this one and I love that cool contrasting in the first panel.
That is a good point. Since the world into which Ethan's stumbled appears to be based on an older rural Korea, it makes sense that it'd have similar flora and fauna. Even the energy spirit looks like a glowing lizard to me (at least in this form). Of course, if this world lacks cats then it's a hideous dystopia that Ethan must escape at the earliest possible chance.
Fortunately for Ethan, the very next chapter is titled "The Little Girl and the Cat." ;)
Oh yeah, those things. We get loads of them in California. This *is* just like Earth.
Oooh, you too, huh? I thought they were only on the East Coast! We always get them swarming around the garbage, those pests. ;D
Yeah, we started getting a lot of them from Washington state after they legalized pot. We're kind of pissed.
I...kind of figured he'd just been sent back to the past, but maybe I'm wrong.
If he is in the past, then he's in a kingdom (queendom?) whose existence has been forgotten, since there is no record of 'Keol' having existed anywhere in or near the Korean peninsular...!
Lost kingdom or an entirely different world... OR BOTH?
It's adorable. How could something so cute be a threat?
