Update 3 of 3 this week.
Lushaka looks very young here due to delayed development that affects his mane and his kitty form. During childhood, it also affected his humanoid form, too, although you can't really tell anymore. He's not sure whether this delayed development is related to his tentacle thing, or if he just has two very unusual, unrelated conditions.
Lushaka has a knack for blindsiding foes and friends alike! (and readers too, it seems)
I had to call my kids into the room to see the adorableness.

He certainly would have chosen that if it were up to him! It's not something he can choose, but sometimes, the only option you have is the right one. :)
