There's a really cool extra level here, in my opinion, which is (understandably) apparently going right over Ethan's head, but isn't going over Danbi's.
Lukasha is wearing a false tattoo to avoid certain problems, and Danbi called him out for it. Lukasha has now challenged Danbi that, if Danbi wants to be able to go where he wants and get what he wants, he has to color his hair in exactly the same way that Lukasha has to wear the false tattoo.
Awesome realization scene, considering we can't even see Danbi's face, only the indirect reflection of it in Lukasha's expression as the light dawns for Danbi. Nicely done.
In the battle of sentiment vs. practicality, today practicality has won. RIP sentiment.
Though I do wonder what people in Keol think Ethan is, for that matter. I mean, we had characters speculating on that when he first arrived, so it's probably a safe bet to assume that many people might assume he's not human, partly because of the hair and also because he's the size of a station wagon.
it's easier to hide a lock of bright colored hair than a butt-chin, though
