That wraps up the chapter as well as the mini-arc. The next mini-arc’s got some… surprises for both the characters and the readers. I can’t wait to reveal them all!
A very nice page, and a nice finish to the tale. Well done, @Keiiii.
I am curious about the action going from 'panel 1' to 'panel 2'. (Quote marks because the background is one big panel as well, in which the story is told -- a different and striking artistic device, but it does mess up the numbering. ^_^ Should the background be 'panel 0'? ^_^) My first impression was that Lushaka was going over to 'head-bump' Ethan, which might be plausibly cat-like behavior in other circumstances but didn't seem right here. ^_^ Is it just an effect of the shifting viewpoint, or is there some non-verbal action intended there?
Oh, yeah, that's just the camera angle change. Lushaka is supposed to be closer to the camera, so he wouldn't be walking into Ethan (maybe his shoulder might've brushed against Ethan's hand?). Sorry that wasn't clear!
It's probably for the best. There isn't much Ethan can say or do to help now, and getting involved any further would just be painful for him.
Indeed. And probably awkward/ not super helpful for the family, either.
Just binge-read (is that a thing? Can...can it be a thing?) the whole series. Artwork is INCREDIBLE. I love the last panel in this one. Can't remember which but one of the ones I read last night literally made me exclaim out loud. Love the use of light best of all. <3 Can't wait to read more!
Thank you! Hope you're finding something to enjoy about the story as well :) (And yes, binge reading is definitely a thing!)
