Surprise early update! Multiple significant changes for all of the characters in this chapter.
Moving is a lot of work even when you have the internet to look for new places, trucks to carry your stuff, etc. It's a lot harder for these people...
One wonders...
To a certain point, you had set this story up to seem like it was going to be about the journey to the heart of Keol (and it is the title, after all).
Are we on a sidetrack from that, or was that a mistaken impression, or is that still what we will see? This is the question we (and by "we", I mean "I") want an answer to.
I realize, of course, that the answers are likely coming up in the story.
(This is a brief, intitial view - I'm still going through the story carefully to find the energy and flow and any problems that might creep up.)
Too bad they don't seem to realize their assailant has a major disadvantage against them at the moment. That would have been some useful tactical knowledge to have.
Indeed. Master would still at least consider moving out in fear of her reporting to whoever she reports back to, because the other option would be to hunt her down (not something they specialize in), probably ending in killing her in cold blood.
Wow. Well, thanks for that. Just no faith in Danbi at all. How supportive. -_-
She means the Rencho (the one they can't rely on -- they don't even know if he's ever gonna show up again) but yeah, I think a part of her will always see Danbi as her charge, someone to take care of and protect.
