"Blindingly Shiny Story" remains an accurate description of the comic, even after all these years.
Wow it went from a pipe dream project to a comic. That's neat!
I started playing video games before I started reading comics, and games have been a significant source of inspiration for me! Right now, though, for HoK, I consider the comic form to be the best way to tell this particular story. Even if I had the budget to hire a whole game studio to make it into reality, I either wouldn't do it (would spend the money elsewhere) or would consider it a spinoff.
Why does everything bad happen to Danbi? He's the best! D:
Hehe. Blindingly Shiny Story. Aw. Adorable! :D It's okay, I came up with my comic, Elements, in middle school too. I refuse to show anything I drew of the comics back then. -_-
Blindingly Shiny Story was a LOT like Fushigi Yuugi in many ways, even though I didn't even know about Fushigi Yuugi's existence until later. It's funny how much HoK has changed and grown over the years!
Sounds like it would've been like Fire Emblem (especially Awakening, given the dating sim aspect). That's an alternate reality I wish I could see.
Probably not exactly like FE, since HoK calls for at least some degree of free roaming world exploration. Though being a huge fan of the franchise, I do like to imagine my characters in FE games!
Ethan rocks those new threads. I kinda hope we get to see him wearing them in the comic itself now.
Now that you mentioned it, I kind of wished this comic also became a video game, or at least a fan made one if someone else had the interest, money, and so much time on their hands.
Aww, Danbi. Don't fret. :( I sound like a girl too!
The story would have to be altered to make a good video game. Maybe even center around a new character made for that game? Orrrr maybe something completely different, like a fighter game!
*imagines P1's Ethan punching P2's Danbi* ... maybe not 8D
It is, indeed, blindingly shiny. Like, in the 'Firefly' sense.
