That giant wyrm shape on the planet is just a symbol representing the Circle, which is not visible from the outer space like that.

Questions:
- Is there some kind of force field that keeps the different kinds of air separated or do they mix near the border, so that the air becomes more and more poisonous the nearer you go to the border?
- I see gas masks. So if some humans (the Scorpions) are able to check on the Elyeos on they outside, why can't the queen's agents do the same?
- I have a vague feeling that there lies some strangeness in this, first their aggressive behavior against Danbi just on the chance that someone might have tampered with his test, now moving Elyeos to the outside of the circle, which requires much greater effort, especially because now they are further away from the border. The short version is: I don't trust them now. And Danbi, who doesn't know this, has much less reason to trust them.

There is a thin ring zone around the perimeter of the Inside (I have not yet decided what they call it in the comic) where the air mixes.

Queen's agents could certainly wear masks (or, since some of them are Elyeos themselves, they could just straight up go out there, no PPE needed). But the Outside is vast, far larger than the Inside. Without knowing the location of the settlement(s), or even knowing for sure that such settlements exist, it's just not practical.

Oh, and the Hornets don't move the Elyeos outside. If there's a wandering Elyeo who happens to be near (relatively) the settlement, and she doesn't want to go to the Queen, they may tell her about the settlement and perhaps arrange a secret meeting with existing members of the settlement. But it's not the mission of their group to smuggle Elyeos out there.

I would not be surprised if there's a Hornet who has made it their *personal* mission to help move free Elyeos to the settlement. But that wouldn't be the whole group.

Well, that answers my last question. But that raises another--can Danbi go there? Ethan and the others almost certainly can't, unless there's an equivalent to a spacesuit in this world.

Well, in the flashback panel he's wearing some kinda protective gear that allows the wearer to survive out there. But they probably can't survive, long term, without ill effect. I can't imagine going to sleep wearing all that stuff, for one thing.
