Given the situation... and her situation... I'm rather astonished that she is running through the town like that at all.

(I went back to chapter 7 and somehow got "stuck reading" from there... it's such a nice read, the dramatic parts included... :D) Ahem. I wonder: Are Elyeos easily recognizable without the ears and the hair being visible? If not - many people wear hats and hair could be colored, or she could wear a scarf... why doesn't she do it?

She's regretting it, honestly. X'D Though less because of feeling threatened, and more because it's 1) irritating, and 2) rubbing her loss of powers in her face.

It's actually illegal in Keol for a Visitor to wear a headgear that covers too much of their hair + ears. Ear covering is permissible for Red visitors during winter, but not for other Visitors, and not when it's warm. Besides, she's white and has a different facial structure, which would make her stand out anyway (though she could try to get away with "I'm actually a Red visitor"...).

Aw, thank you! TBH I don't really do much worldbuilding for this project...? At least, it doesn't feel like I do a lot of it. I fall back on "how would this work with people living in a culture very similar to old-ish Korea" a lot, and it helps to have that.

Whew, I also thought that much sophisticated world-building was&is involved! I mean, the gates, the boy from the gate, humans of earth having (dangerous) magic in them, Elyeos, Renchos, the queen... I had not expected most of this being common in old-ish Korea, or any country on earth. ;-)

Don't they teach about the gates in ancient Asia in history classes? Sheesh! What has education become!?

...I guess what I mean is, it's one thing to come up with gates and cat people and all that! But it's something else to figure out how those affect the everyday lives of people in a functioning society.

Pretty sure you'll be the opposite of a blessing if you ask her.

Funny that they comment on her figure. At least, so I thought at first. But looking at how most of the characters native to Keol are built, I suppose it's probably uncommon for humans that be that busty. An ordinary human would probably garner similar notice, I think. It's just even more noticeable with her, since she's already an unusual sight that draws inordinate notice, so on top of that, they're more likely to notice her figure. That's my theory, anyway.

Why does your comic consistently cause me to theorize on the implications of sex characteristics and people's reactions to them? Seriously. Something is wrong with me.

Hopefully it's because this comic contains an unfiltered reflection of my own attitude toward sexuality. X'D
