Still the same heartbroken boy, just bigger.

I'll see you guys on Dec 28th! In the meantime, make sure you didn't miss the surprise update from last Friday (the previous page).

The Doodler

That transition with him turning his head is really effective.

Reminds me of a friend whose little brother got killed in a motorcycle accident. He said to me "You *need* to see it (the body). Else, You don't believe it."

And seriously... I'm not sure which possibility is better.

If truth is like medicine, sometimes the medicine can hurt just as much as, if not worse than, the disease itself.

Of course the difference between 'medicine' and 'poison' depends on the ratio of the amount administered to the LD50 (the dosage at which 50% of the test subjects receiving it die). ^_^ But 'comforting falsehood' can be just as much 'medicine' as 'truth', and in my inexpert opinion the LD50 for truth is almost always higher than the LD50 for falsehood.

As with everything, that depends heavily on the individual. Some people, like me, are extremely allergic to sugary/buttery falsehood.

This is a very well done page. The cutting between the scenes is perfect as is the mood.

Thanks. Hoping my next flashback will go as smoothly; flashbacks are really tricky to write!
